Location: Cherry Hill Pharmacy, NJ

Shift: Day: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 guaranteed hours per week, 24 Weeks contract

Job Description:

Pharmacy Technicians locate, dispense, pack, and label a prescribed medication for a patient that is then reviewed for accuracy by a pharmacist before dispensed to the patient. They might also help pharmacists with administrative tasks such as processing insurance claims, tracking inventory, and filing paperwork. Key responsibilities include:

1. Duties and Responsibilities:
   
   
   
   • Performs packaging, manipulative, repetitive, and other non-discretionary tasks.
   
   
   
   
   
   • Removes drugs from stock.
   
   
   
   
   
   • Counts, pours and mixes pharmaceuticals.
   
   
   
   
   
   • Places products in container and affixes labels onto containers.
   
   
   
   
   
   • Performs packaging and repackaging tasks.
   
   
   
   
   
   • Performs other related duties as assigned.
   
   
   
   





2. Education and Experience:
   
   
   
   • A high school qualification or equivalent.
   
   
   
   
   
   • Must have 1+ years of recent Pharmacy Technician experience . Outpatient experience is highly preferred.
   
   
   
   





3. Certifications:
   
   
   
   • Must have New Jersey pharmacy technician license and technician certification.
   
   
   
   





4. Other requirements:
   
   
   
   • Fully vaccinated for COVID-19
