Location: Albany, NY

Shift: Night : 1900-0730, 13 Weeks contract

Holiday/Weekend Requirement: 1 summer/1 winter holiday, EOW

Job Description:

Cardiac nurses are registered nurses who specialize in a wide variety of cardiovascular procedures. They work specifically with patients who suffer from many conditions regarding the cardiovascular system.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluating and treating patients





• Providing postoperative care





• Monitoring stress test evaluations





• Monitoring cardiac and vascular readings





• Educating patients and their families





• Supporting and motivating patients’ lifestyle changes

Education/ Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - BSN





• Must have minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac experience 

Certifications:

• Current and valid state RN License





• BLS and ACLS Certification required





• NIHSS Certification required

Other Mandatory Requirements:

• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19
