Shift: Evenings: 3:00 PM - 7:00AM (2x a week) and 11:00PM-7:00AM (1x a week), 40 hours per week, 7 week contract

Job Description:

LPN nurse's role involves assisting doctors and registered nurses. The role includes monitoring patients, performing routine checks, and assisting doctors and nurses. Key responsibilities include:

1. Duties and Responsibilities:
   
   
   
   • Monitor patients throughout their treatment.
   
   
   
   
   
   • Perform routine checks of patients' vital signs.
   
   
   
   
   
   • Ensure that patients take their medication.
   
   
   
   
   
   • Assist doctors and registered nurses.
   
   
   
   
   
   • Liaise with patients' families.
   
   
   
   





2. Education and Experience:
   
   
   
   • Must have 1 year of experience working in a LTC setting.
   
   
   
   





3. Certifications:
   
   
   
   • LPN License required (PA)
   
   
   
   
   
   • AHA BLS Certification required.
   
   
   
   





4. Other requirements:
   
   
   
   • Fully vaccinated for COVID-19
   
   
   
   
   
   • Long term care skills
   
   
   
   

This position requires a compassionate, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and critical thinking skills. You will need a LPN license. Prior experience in an acute care setting and additional certifications in nursing are highly desirable.
